    Administrative Assistant - School Engagement (Part-time)
    Location: Educational Services Center (ESC)
    Department: Social, Emotional and Behavior Services
    16 hours per week, Pay Grade 6 $21.24 to $23.58, 190 day calendar

    This position is responsible for supporting various aspects of the Social Emotional and Behavior Services Team, including administrative and secretarial functions including supporting the Social, Emotional and Behavior Services Coordinators, preparing and disseminating Truancy Court documentation and correspondence, designing and maintaining key databases and measures, answering phones, performing bookkeeping and financial responsibilities and archiving documents.

    Essential Duties:
    • Perform administrative and secretarial support for the Social Emotional and Behavior Services Coordinators, including managing phone calls, filing, database management, written correspondence, purchasing, event planning and other related tasks.
    • Support the School Engagement Team and Judicial Services, including monitoring project progress; composing and preparing a variety of correspondence and other materials ensuring content, accuracy, and completeness; utilizing mail merge software for sending sanction letters and truancy notices, screening and prioritizing incoming correspondence and processing outgoing correspondence; preparing and maintaining files
    • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including preparing and processing purchase orders and mileage requests for School Engagement Team; maintaining accurate records of transactions, tracking financial processes for the Mental Health Resource Program, coordinating bus pass program
    • Support Judicial Specialist with court document preparation and coordination, attend court 1-2 times a month to take notes on proceedings, document in Infinite Campus and managing ongoing court paperwork
    • Assist with coordinating and planning outreach events, parent education workshops and other special events
    • Support School Engagement and broader Social Emotional and Behavior Services Team with special projects or assignments
    • Managing supplies and materials as necessary

    Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Criminal background check required for hire
    • Valid Colorado driver’s license
    • Prior courses, experience or certifications in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or other related software is preferred

    Experience:
    • One year of experience in an administrative support position preferred
    • Experience in an educational setting preferred
    • Paralegal or other related experience preferred
    • Bilingual skills preferred
