Activity Assistant

Rose Linn Care Center is currently hiring an Activities Assistant. Facilitate our Activity Director and bring your special flare to our resident’s life enrichment program. Qualifications:

• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Candidates should exhibit compassion, an energetic personality and creativeness in assisting with therapeutic activities for our residents.
• Must be dependable and able to maintain a flexible schedule.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug testing and criminal records background check.
• Some experience in social or recreation programming is preferred, or experience working in a healthcare setting.

Key Job Duties/Skillset:

• Assist in all components of the Activity Department to assure that an ongoing program of activities is meeting the interests and wellbeing of each resident.
• Potentially assist in coordinating and scheduling outside vendors and presenters.
• Assist in the creation and execution of activities that engage each resident.
• Participate in community event planning with the marketing staff.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
