Summary of Responsibility:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator provides support to the A/R team and Customers through execution of various A/R related activities and processes as outlined below.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide initial point of contact for all inbound A/R related calls & emails in a timely manner.
- Replies to daily customer requests for documentation; Invoices, Credit Card Receipts, Work Orders, etc.
- Responsible for setting up new customers, including billing, credit & contacts; linking accounts in Salesforce
- Providing A/R administrative support of all online 3rd party portals & websites.
- Assisting with Coding & Processing of Daily Cash Deposits
- Provide up to date documentation in Salesforce, noting all paid in full Invoices/projects, confirming payments with sales team
- Assisting with the research & resolution of customer payment discrepancies.
- Updating, reviewing & distributing weekly customer block list
- Creating & distributing weekly “Monday Commentary” reports
- Assisting with Bi-Monthly A/R sub-ledger reviews
- Assisting in the set up and maintenance of the customer account information, including taxation documentation.
- Administering of P-Card responsibilities
- Compiles & distributes Monthly A/R Stats, DSO & Cash Flow Reports (Red Book)
- Perform related duties as the need arises to support Accounting team
- Responding to customer questionnaires, forms, survey & audit requests
- Provide daily feedback on process issues
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
- Oversees daily billing batch customer emails & mailings
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding returns & credits
- Assisting with the resolution of unmatched cash balances
- Oversees Bi-Monthly statement cycle through emails & mailings
- Performs weekly reviews for terms compliance in Salesforce

Qualifications and competencies:
- High School Diploma Required.
- Experience in collections is beneficial.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook and Excel), and other related business programs is required.
- Ability to use mathematics to tackle problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and groups, both professional and non-professional, co-workers, management personnel, the public and others.
- Ability to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
- Confirmed written and verbal communication skills. Listening, organization and priority setting skills required.
- Ability to perform job with integrity and values consistent with the Morris Group Values.
