Accounts Payable Associate

Lanigan & Associates, P.C., a regional CPA and consulting firm, is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to work in the firm’s Accounting Services Department. This full-time position is located in our Thomasville, Georgia or Tallahassee, Florida office locations.

Position Description

This position will work with a team that provides complete accounting services to our clients. The desired candidate will have experience working with accounts payable.

The candidate will have the ability to quickly learn and master computer software applications to input and process data and produce reports. This position requires the ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail in order to ensure accuracy and validity.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience in accounts payable to include reviewing invoices and paying through software application (account reconciliation will be a plus).

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software and demonstrated ability to learn and work with industry specific accounting software applications.

Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.

Education preference: Associates degree or higher.

Lanigan & Associates, P.C., offers a competitive compensation. The first ninety days of employment will be a probationary period for training, etc.
