- Responsible for various monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
- Perform the monthly close process and all associated general accounting activities.
- Assist with credit card administration and credit card expense reporting through Travel Bank.
- Evaluate accounting processes for effectiveness and efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Implement improvements.
- Assist with the completion of all external financial audits for timely and accurate publication.
- Provide certain month-end reporting.
- Assist with the analysis of accounts receivable and any reserves.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
- Advanced experience with Excel is required.
- CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with not-for-profit accounting is a plus.
- Experience using Word, PowerPoint, Travel Bank, and Financial Edge NXT a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management skills.
