Job Details

- Manage the general ledger system and ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports to identify variances and potential issues.
- Prepare and submit various tax reports, including sales and use tax, property tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist with annual audits and prepare audit schedules as needed.
- Provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable teams as needed.
What You need for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of experience in General Ledger Accounting or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
