USRBP is hiring for an Account Executive for our Partner Firm, Kean Financial Services located in Rockwall, TX.

Position Summary

  • The Account Executive is an experienced/technically proficient client-facing position that is responsible for leading Account Management activities and the development of the overall strategic plan with assigned clients.
  • Contribute to key business outcomes such as client retention, client satisfaction, and enhancing USRBP’s value to clients.
  • Champion cross-selling initiatives based on client need and in-depth understanding of USRBP’s breadth of offerings.
  • Build and solidify relationships with existing clients by providing exceptional, ongoing care.
  • Communicate with Sales Directors on found opportunities and upselling additional services to existing clients.
  • Take leadership role in full client life cycle and client renewal process, ensuring that the best possible solutions are delivered to the client in a high-quality and timely manner.
  • Effectively develop and deliver benefits strategy to clients, aligned with client guiding principles and informed by industry trends, compliance requirements, and benefits best practices.
  • Support in the financial management of clients’ health plans through activities such as alternative funding analysis, employee contribution modeling, plan design modeling, claims analysis, and annual budget review.
  • Solidify and grow relationships with USRBP cross-segment and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop employee communication and benefits education strategy for clients’ employees.
  • Delegate and project manage key initiatives related to client strategy, renewals, and HR compliance.
  • Conduct onsite strategy, renewal, and open enrollment meetings with clients.
  • Review and summarize benchmarking content and create relevant materials based on client life cycle/industry trends.
  • Coordinate and help manage client compliance activities such as Form 5500 filings, SBC (Summary of Benefits and Coverage) review, SPD (Summary Plan Description) review, and other Health Care Reform reporting requirements.
  • Support with the Request for Proposal process, including the analysis, comparison, and delivery of results to client leadership.
  • Negotiate with carrier and vendor partners to obtain best outcome pricing, quality of service, and plan design scenarios for client.
  • Develop and recommend alternative strategies, plan modeling and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Identify and drive sales activities (either new products or services within existing book, or new prospects).
  • Maintain and cultivate strong carrier relationships to enhance USRBP’s position in the market place.
  • Have deep knowledge of internal systems and platforms, with ability to hold client-facing demos of client/employee technology (such as The Benefits Dashboard, Ben Admin systems, and Employer Websites).
  • Resolution support and oversight of junior service team members.
  • Contribute to the development, mentorship, and performance management of junior staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5 years client service experience with employee benefits, including major medical and voluntary and/or worksite benefits.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of team members and clients.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to respond to all communications effectively and timely.
  • In-depth understanding of major medical, voluntary plans, and benefit industry’s consumer behavior and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working and negotiating with carriers and vendors.
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to facilitate and lead meetings with executive-level client contacts.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage several different tasks at once.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for analyzing, synthesizing, and suggesting best practice recommendations from client data.
  • Proficient in Excel and Office 365.
  • Solid financial acumen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
