Gauge is revolutionizing this process by creating an auction for dealers to purchase vehicles directly from consumers, bringing transparency and efficiency to both sides of the market. Dealers can acquire the inventory they need directly from consumers, and consumers can ensure that they’re getting the highest price for their vehicle by getting offers from all interested buyers at the same time.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $50,000
  • OTE: $98,000

Job Summary:*
In this role, you will be contacting private sellers whose vehicles we’ve inspected. It will be your job to educate them on current market trends, while also finding them the best deal and closing the deal to purchase the vehicle. You will be responsible for making the sale go smoothly and being an evangelist for Gauge’s process. Because the market is ever-changing, you will be required to be swift in your negotiations and have a do-whatever-it-takes mentality, in a fast paced environment.

Job Duties:*

  • Receive warm inbound leads from our SDR and Inspector teams
  • Discussing offers with the seller and purchasing their vehicle
  • Communicating with sellers through inbound and outbound channels to effectively sell them on and persuade them to work with Gauge
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate future sales
  • Leverage team and feedback to consistently improve and help our customers
  • Clearly document all calls, interactions and pertinent details
  • Communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:*
Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, success management, or equivalent required
  • Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
  • Available to work Saturdays (with a comp day during the week)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven negotiation skills

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
