Job description
Universal Consulting Services, UCS, a mid-sized defense contractor is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division located on Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, California.
Duties include:
- Process personnel checking in and out of the command. File new hire, check-in and other security related documents.
- Process building requests, space access lists, and provide building access through the velocity system.
- Process incoming and outgoing visit requests, ship visit requests, and requests for security clearance verification and provide classified meeting support.
- Provide Enterprise-wide Security Knowledge and support (preparing security policies, protocols, and products).
- Perform analytical work, compliance inspections, and metrics
- Perform Customer Service Interactions
- Support the Security Directorate and Directorate Leads to identify the levels of Security support across the Enterprise as well as the general health and responsiveness in each security program.
- Provide additional administrative support as directed.
- US Citizen with active secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of relevant security clearance procedures and protocols
- Proven track record with strong written and oral communication, analytical skills, data visualization skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently
