Job description
Operates punch press to perform piercing, blanking and forming of sheet metal parts. Also performs the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Places strips or individual parts in press trips press via foot treadue or palm buttons.
2. Advances strip or removes part from next operation.
3. Must be able to recognize visual irregularities.
4. Maybe required to use gages or measuring instruments and record data for quality documentation.
